Vollenschier Castle, also known as Vollenschier Manor, was built in 1869 and is characterized by its historicizing brick architecture with Neo-Gothic elements.

History+

Vollenschier Castle was built in 1869 under the patronage of the von Kröcher siblings. The architect Conrad Wilhelm Hase, who also designed the nearby Vollenschier estate church, was commissioned for the design. The building was inhabited until around 1990, but has been vacant ever since and is in need of renovation.
