Wachenheim Castle

Wachenheim Castle is a castle in the small Palatinate town of Wachenheim an der Weinstraße, which is considered a cultural monument. Today it houses the sparkling wine cellar Schloss Wachenheim, named after it.

The castle is located at Kommerzienrat-Wagner-Straße 1 and represents an extensive winegrower's estate in a landscaped park. It was built around 1730; the other buildings belonging to the estate were only built about a hundred years later, some even in the 20th century.
