History of the Castle+

The castle was first mentioned in a document in 1124, in the possession of Bucco von Wannebach. In 1430, the castle was destroyed in the Hussite War and subsequently rebuilt. In 1493, the Lords of Wannbach sold the castle to Konz von Egloffstein.
