Warnberg Castle

School

The castle was built in the early 12th century. Later, ownership passed to Schäftlarn Abbey and the Witschit family. In 1594, Duke Wilhelm V ceded the property to the Jesuits as a summer retreat. In 1667, the present castle was built about 50 meters north of the old castle complex.
