Schloss Wartha+
History+

Wartha Castle was built in 1771 under Georg Ludwig Erasmus Freiherr von Huldenberg. His father was elevated to the knightly nobility by the Emperor in 1698 with the name von Huldenberg. On the central risalit, a door stands out, which once led to a balcony. This is missing today. The five dormer windows on the roof resemble sad eyes looking down at the visitor. The house even had a small tower, which, however, had to be removed due to weathering. After 1815, Wartha belonged to Prussia. In 1818, an Alexander Robert Löbenstein was in possession of the castle. The family owned the castle until their expropriation and expulsion by the communists in 1945. Afterwards, the building served as a residential house for a while.
