In the Uckermark region of Brandenburg is Wartin Castle, a manor house from the 18th century. It has neo-Gothic additions from the 19th century and today serves as a center for art, culture, and science.

History+

The manor house was built in the 18th century and received its neo-Gothic corner turrets in the 19th century. After 1933, the building was used as a Gau leadership school. Following German reunification, the Collegium Wartinum Foundation undertook the renovation and preservation of the estate. The goal was to establish Wartin Castle as the seat for the European Academy and develop it into a venue for cultural and scientific exchange.
