Weiler Castle, a small castle built in the late 18th century, stands in Weiler, a district of Sinsheim. It once served as the official residence of the Lords of Venningen after they had abandoned their original residence.

History+

Weiler Castle was constructed towards the end of the 18th century. It served as the official residence for the Venningen family, who had previously withdrawn from Steinsberg Castle. The builders are known to be Carl Philipp von Venningen (1728–1797) and Maria Anna von Hutten zu Stolzenberg († 1781), whose alliance coat of arms can still be seen above the building's entrance.
