Weißes Haus Castle, an extensive historic estate with remnants of a medieval castle, is located in the Mußbach district of Neustadt an der Weinstraße in Rhineland-Palatinate. It combines the remains of a medieval castle with later additions and now serves as a winery and residential complex.

History+

The origins of Weißes Haus Castle date back to a medieval castle attributed to the knightly family of Rammingen. In 1598, the castle-like structure was completed under Erhardt von Rammingen. A coat of arms from 1600 on the north wall commemorates him. As Erhardt had no male heirs, the property passed to his son-in-law Carl von Pawel, a Palatinate elector's councilor.
