Wellenberg Castle (Frauenfeld)

The first documented mention by Walter von Wellenberg dates back to 1204. In revenge for the raids on their merchants, the people of Zurich, on behalf of Rudolf von Habsburg, destroyed the castle in 1258. Ulrich von Wellenberg was taken prisoner.
