The former moated castle in Wiedendorf dates back to the 16th century at its core. It was first mentioned in documents in 1435 and frequently changed owners. In 1934, the east wing was extended. In 1968/1969, a renovation and new construction took place, as well as a restoration of the old building. The two-story four-sided complex has window frames with twisted plinths and grooved sills on the ground floor, and window fascias with shell keystones and grooved sills on the upper floor.
