Wiesen Castle was built in 1597. It is a three-story building complemented by a round tower. Although often referred to as a hunting lodge for the Electors of Mainz, there is no conclusive evidence to confirm this use. The Renaissance building, dating back to the late 16th century, is located in Wiesen, a municipality in the Aschaffenburg district of Bavaria, Germany, at an elevation of approximately 397 meters above sea level.
Today, Wiesen Castle is privately owned. Visitors can admire the well-preserved exterior of the building.
