Wilkendorf Castle, a listed aristocratic residence, is located in the Brandenburg municipality of Altlandsberg, north of Strausberg. It combines elements of Neo-Gothic and Neo-Renaissance styles.

History+

The history of the estate has been linked to the noble Pfuel family of Mark Brandenburg since 1536. A stately building emerged from 1856, when Gustav Felix Bertram von Pfuhl commissioned the construction of a castle complex. In 1891, two-thirds of the castle was destroyed by fire, but it was partially rebuilt in 1892/93. Around 1900, the industrialist Georg von Caro acquired the castle and the associated manor. Under his patronage, the building underwent structural changes and expansion in 1909. After Caro's death in 1914, ownership passed to Carolina Wolff and her husband.
