Wolframshof Castle is located in the Upper Palatinate village of Kastl. It was already mentioned in 1045 as "Villa Wolframmesdorf". The current castle was built in the 16th-17th century. In 1617, ownership passed to the Franconian noble family von Lüschwitz, who had their roots in Saxony.
