Würgassen Castle
In 1698, the castle was completed in its current form; the cellar vaults originate from a significantly older building. From 1583 until after 1804, it belonged to the Lords of Wrede, followed by the families von Haxthausen and von Heyden. In 1953, the von Hirschheydt family acquired it. From 1954 to 1955, the manor house was extensively restored.
