The Manor House of Eggenstedt+
History+
The manor house was built in the 12th century by the Lords of Asseburg. In 1608, the castle in Eggenstedt was erected. From 1636, due to the Thirty Years' War, the castle was uninhabited and destroyed. In 1669, the castle was rebuilt as a baroque three-wing complex. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed by the communists.
