Schönbornsche Amtskellerei

South of the Catholic church is the former Schönborn Amtscellary, built in 1783 in late Baroque style and used as a Catholic rectory from at least 1807 until the 1980s. Inside the two-story solid building with a half-hipped roof, a beautiful wooden staircase with an ornate railing, wooden wainscoting, and door leaves with partially original decorative fittings have been preserved from the time of construction. On the upper floor, two adjacent rooms with simple stucco ceilings and stove niches are particularly noteworthy, which can be supplied from a stove chamber accessible from the hallway. In the vaulted cellar of the property, which was built on the grounds of the Schönborn noble seat near the former south gate, there may still be remnants of an older fortified building, as the walls are unusually thick, over three meters.
