Schönbornsche Amtskellerei

In Badenheim, the Schönbornsche Amtskellerei is a historic manor and estate house. The building, which stands on the foundations of an older noble residence, contains details from its construction period.

The Schönbornsche Amtskellerei was built in 1783 in the late Baroque style. Initially used as an administrative winery, the estate served as a Catholic rectory from 1807 at the latest until the 1980s. Inside the two-story solid building with a half-hip roof, a wooden staircase with an ornate railing, wooden wainscoting, and door leaves with original decorative fittings have been preserved to this day.
