The Historic Building+
History and Architecture+

Commissioned by Lothar Franz von Schönborn between 1695 and 1710, the early Baroque hunting lodge is a three-winged, relatively simple building. Due to its hillside location, the two long wings are two-story, while the transverse wing has three stories. Leonhard Dientzenhofer is sometimes presumed to be the builder, but this assumption is not substantiated. The stair tower located in the courtyard of the former hunting lodge probably dates from the 19th century.
