St. Michael Münster

The church's origins date back to the Middle Ages, as evidenced by its original church tower. Between 1785 and 1786, a late Baroque hall church was added to the east of this tower, based on plans by Johann Peter Jäger. A significant change occurred in 1842 when the medieval church tower was replaced by a new construction featuring a stepped, slate-covered spire. In 1910, August Greifzu extended the nave with two side aisles, giving the building its current form. The Empire-style furnishings, including three altars, the pulpit, four confessionals, and church pews, date from 1802 and 1803.

St. Michael's Church is situated in Münster, a municipality in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district in the South Hesse region, Germany. It is part of the large parish of St. Christophorus Dieburger Land within the Diocese of Mainz.

The interior of the church features groin vaults in the side aisles and a barrel vault in the nave and choir. A ciborium rests above the high altar, while the people's altar and ambo are positioned between the nave and the choir. The organ, originally built in 1839 by Bernhard Dreymann, was rebuilt and renovated in 1971 by the Oberlinger company. It features 27 stops across two manuals and pedal.
