St. Ursula Chapel

As early as 1525, a predecessor building of the current chapel was destroyed during the Peasants' War. Soon after, a smaller new building was erected on the same site. In 1704, the widow of the Sternberg castle builder, Baroness Eva Rosina Truchseß von Wetzhausen, donated relics, which transformed the chapel into a pilgrimage site, attracting up to 10,000 pilgrims annually. Between 1750 and 1754, a larger church building was constructed. After a closure in 1803, the chapel was reopened in 1811 following protests.
