History+

The origins of the Altlandsberg town fortification date back to the 14th and 15th centuries. During this period, the complex was erected, consisting of a rampart, a moat, and a town wall made of fieldstones. Two towers, the Berlin Tower and the Strausberg Tower, also known as the Stork Tower, were an integral part of this defensive line.
