Die Stadtbefestigung Freinsheim ist eine der besterhaltene mittelalterliche Stadtbefestigung der Pfalz. Sie wurde Ende des 14. und Anfang des 15. Jahrhunderts errichtet, bis Anfang des 16. Jahrhunderts ergänzt, nach teilweiser Zerstörung im Pfälzischen Erbfolgekrieg im 18. Jahrhundert ergänzt. Erhalten sind Bruchsteinmauer, zwei Tore und 13 Türme.
