Freinsheim Town Fortification
The city fortification of Freinsheim is one of the best-preserved medieval city fortifications in the Palatinate. It was built at the end of the 14th and beginning of the 15th century, supplemented until the beginning of the 16th century, and supplemented in the 18th century after partial destruction in the Palatinate War of Succession. Preserved are rubble stone walls, two gates and 13 towers.
