The Gate can be visited

The Treptower Gate, a structure of the medieval city fortifications of Neubrandenburg, was built in the mid-14th century in the North German Brick Gothic style. At 31.8 meters, it is the tallest of Neubrandenburg's four city gates. It owes its name to the old country road that led from here towards Treptow (today Altentreptow).

The construction of the Treptower Gate took place around the mid-14th century. In the 15th century, the complex was expanded with an outer gate. A half-timbered house with apartments was added in the 18th century, followed by a telegraph office in 1856.
