Town Fortification Rothenburg-Kobolzeller Tor (Kobolzell Gate)
It is said that in the old days you had to pass through a total of four gates before entering the town from the Tauber Valley. What is certain is that even then the gate was protected by the massive outer bailey. Follow in the footsteps of preceding generations and climb the "Alte Steige", a steep street leading up from the Tauber, and pass through the fortifications to the "Teufelskanzel" lookout.
