Stockalper Castle, also known as Stockalper Palace, was built between 1651 and 1671 in Brig, Switzerland. It features a four-story main building, three towers, and a three-story arcaded courtyard.

History+

Stockalper Castle was constructed between 1651 and 1671 by Kaspar Jodok von Stockalper. The three square towers, built from granite blocks and topped with gilded onion domes, are named Kaspar, Melchior, and Balthasar. This naming is a tribute to the Three Wise Men. In 1948, the castle became the property of the city of Brig. Since 1960, it has served as the town hall and also houses a museum.
