The Teatro Romano di Verona, an ancient Roman theater, is located in Verona on the left bank of the Adige River, in a river bend and at the foot of Colle San Pietro.

History+

Construction of this structure took place around 20 BC. It was designed as a complex, encompassing a stage, an orchestra, and marble tiers. The theater was complemented by arcades and two entrances, adorned with statues and loggias. For a long time, it served as a venue for dramatic performances. However, after the decline of the Roman Empire, it fell into disrepair due to weathering and lack of maintenance.
