Tour Fondue
At the eastern tip of the Hyères peninsula in France, the historic fortress Tour Fondue is located. Originally built in the 17th century, it served to defend the coast and was repeatedly modified to maintain its strategic importance.

The origins of the Tour Fondue date back to the 17th century when it was constructed as a part of coastal defense. The complex underwent various alterations and expansions to meet military requirements. In addition to the defensive structures, the complex also included accommodations for the garrison and a powder magazine.
