Tubber na Carrig Manor

Tubber na Carrig (Irish Tobar na Carraige, "Well of the Rock") is a small late Georgian country house with demesne outside Kircubbin, County Down, Northern Ireland, on Tubber Road. The name commemorates a well that an underground servants' passage connected to the house.

The five-bay house was built in the 1780s as Summerhill and was extended around 1840. The estate comprises around 30 acres, of which about 11 are garden and woodland: kitchen garden, walled garden, sunken garden, lake and a rediscovered ha-ha that led staff invisibly past the show side. During the Second World War, RAF No. 82 Fighter Group used a building in the pleasure garden; it fell into disrepair and was demolished in the 2000s, and the lake is now in its place.

A recent restoration has renewed the house and garden.
