The Tucherschloss in Feucht is a historical building in the Nuremberg region, once serving as the manor house for a trading family. It is one of three preserved castles in the municipality.

History+

The Tucherschloss was built at the end of the 16th century on agricultural land. Herdegen IV. Tucher, a merchant and head of the Tucher trading company, acquired a plot of land in Feucht in 1586 and had a manor house built there between 1591 and 1592. Originally used as a summer residence, the castle was devastated and plundered during the Thirty Years' War. Despite initial restrictions to leave the ground floor unheated, a diverse use of space evolved, including living rooms and a kitchen on the ground floor.
