The Oberderdingen Tower Castle, a tower castle in the Kraichgau region, stands in Oberderdingen's upper village in the Karlsruhe district. Its history dates back to the 13th century, which ultimately led to its integration into the local church.

History+

The Oberderdingen Tower Castle was constructed around the year 1250, initiated by the Counts of Oberderdingen. During the 13th century, ownership of the complex changed, passing to Herrenalb Monastery. Of the original castle complex, the former residential tower remains today, having found a new purpose as a church tower.
