The Frentzenhof building (also known as Lower Castle, Kitzburg) was first mentioned in 1250 as the seat of the Knights of Stommel. The residence is a stately two-story plastered building constructed around 1760, with four and three axes and a hipped mansard roof. Above the valuable baroque entrance is a cartouche with a coat of arms depicting three intertwined fish under a five-pointed crown. Literature mentions that the 18th-century staircase with an openwork railing has been preserved inside the house.
