Administration department

The castle was built in the second half of the 15th century. Since the 17th century, the castle has been owned by the Lords of Freyberg (later Lords of Öpfingen). In 1632, the castle was destroyed by imperial troops during the Thirty Years' War and subsequently rebuilt.
