Zisterzienserinnenkloster Ophoven

The precise founding date of the Cistercian convent of Ophoven is not recorded, yet its existence has long been documented in the historical records of the Heinsberg region. As part of the Cistercian order, it adhered to its strict rules and shaped the religious and cultural life of its surroundings for centuries.
